Gray Monk Estate Winery and the Grapevine Restaurant are pleased to welcome Daniel Weber at CRESCENDO (www.crescendobc.com) who will be giving you a unique insight into the world of oils, vinegars and spices. Let him surprise you with a symphony of taste and learn tips and tricks to turn every day cooking into fine dining.
We are also pleased to welcome Peter Rotzetter at Chocoliro (www.chocoliro.com) who will be sampling some of the finest Swiss chocolate crafted in the Okanagan Valley. Learn about the fine art of making truffles and gain an understanding of the importance of the percentage of cocoa content when using chocolate for baking.
This afternoon grazing event is not to be missed. Participants will enjoy the small plates prepared by Chef Willi Franz and the Grapevine Restaurant Culinary Team. You will see the how these special products are used in everyday recipes that are sure to make home entertaining unique and fun.
Naturally, the highly acclaimed wines from Gray Monk Estate Winery have been selectively chosen to compliment each dish and sampling station.

Crescendo opened the second store in Kelowna

After two years successfully operating a store in Revelstoke we just opened our second store in Kelowna.

Kelowna it’s a great demographic with all the wonderful vineyards around. The people go to farmers’ markets, they cook from scratch, and they’re into the Slow Food movement. There’s a huge food culture in British Columbia. What sets Crescendo apart from other gourmet food stores is that you can sample virtually everything we offer.

Liz, one of our first customers in the new store, is the lucky winner of a huge basket which was one of our door prizes. Congratulation!
